Okay. So since I've never done this before here I go....What is cool?
Is cool having all the latest designer labels, a brand new Mercedes, or having everyone like you?
What if "cool" is simply being comfortable with oneself, and in turn having people like you, because they know your being real. In the United States of America over the past several weeks 5 (That we know of) young people ranging from the ages of 13-19 have died due to hateful crimes, and depression caused by teasing. These young members of society died due to hate crimes (group violence) and bullying that led to the suicides and beatings.
THIS HAS TO STOP!
No one should be made to feel as if they are alone in this world!!!!!! Because you are not alone! Teachers, counselors, friends, churches, youth workers of the community and Help Lines are there for you! They care about you, they care about your thoughts and feelings, and how other peoples hateful remarks effect how YOU feel about yourself.
Being cool is loving everyone. Loving people who are part of the LGBT community. Being cool is loving your neighbour, regardless of age/gender/religion/ethnic background. Being cool is going above and beyond everyone else, and sticking up for what you believe in. Because that my friend is "cool".
Remember, you are loved. Spread the Love, not the hate.
