Make Up Review!

I LOVE make up. 

I love playing with all the pretty lotions and potions! 

So I've decided to do a review of

 my make up products and perfumes :)

Foundation/Powder:
Covergirl TruBlend #2 
            ★★★
            This is a very creamy formula, but a little bit liquidy. Goes on well, sets well, and is a good day to day product to use.

 Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse in Classic Ivory
          ★★★★★
           Probably one of my favourite products. Goes on like a lightly whipped cream, spreads evenly, easily matches up to your skin tone, and no cakey feel. 

Mac Cosmetics Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Light Medium
         ★★★★
         Bit pricey at $26 USD( About $32 Canadian!) But goes on with a nearly flawless finish. Only thing is, it's a bit pricey though it does last a long time. (I've had mine for about 10 months now)

Eyes


Mascara:
 Maybelline Colossal Volume Express in Classic Black
               ★★★ 
             Good smooth formula, easily applied. Tends to flake after about 10 hours unfortunately. 

L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Waterproof in Carbon Black
               ★★★★
              Goes on easily, good formula. Doesn't flake much, though I found it hard to apply to my bottom lashes.

Maybelline Falsies Waterproof in Very Black

              Love it. Good smooth formula, easily coated every eye lash, comfortable brush. 

Eyeliner:
Almay Intense I-Color in Black Pearl
             ★★★★★
            This is my absolute favourite eyeliner. Nice brush, great formula, easily applied, lasts all day!

Joe eyeliner pencil in Black

           Easily applied but felt cakey and didn't last long.

Eyeshadow:


Mac eyeshadow in Sumptuous Olive and Gleam 
         ★★★★★!!!
          I LOVE these eyeshadow's I've bought both a few times.They both go on clean, easily, and keep their hold for 10+ hours. Sumptuous Olive is green, but goes on with quiet a bit of gold in it, so it makes blue eyes looks extra blue. Gleam is a coral pink tone, and looks lovely on most of the people that I've seen wearing it.

Rimmel London Colour Rush Trio Eye Shadow

          Didn't go on evenly, didn't blend well, but lasted for most of the day.

Softlips Lip Balm in French Vanilla SPF 20

             Goes on smoothly, moisturizers, no goop, smells great!

Nivea Lip Case Essential

              Goes on a bit thick, BUT it will keep your lips soft for days

Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Lip Gloss in Slice of Heaven

           Smells fantastic, gives a good smooth even coating of colour and shine, though a bit sticky, so watch out for your hair getting sticky from it!

Mac Cosmetics Lustre Lipstick in Viva La Glam Gaga
                ★★★★★
          Love!!!! Goes on more like a stain so it lasts for hours, evenly coats lips, no smudging. Just make sure you have soft lips prior to application for best results.

Covergirl Wetslicks Fruit Spritzers Gloss in Guava Splash

            I was a bit disappointed with this product. It didn't hold onto my lips for long, but when reapplied frequently my lips looked glossy and sexy!

Vaseline

           It's a classic moisturizer, goes on smoothly, last for a long time, and is a good base to put on before putting on your lipstick!

Covergirl  Really Red Lipstick
           ★★★★★
       Love! Love! Love!  This is my favourite red lipstick. It goes on as a true red, not orange or pink toned. Just RED. And lasted all night at a party ( Dancing, drinking, kissing) Very good buy!

       These will leave your skin smelling fruity, and sexy! They blend well with your own natural scent making them your own. But you can only purchase them online or at LaSenza in Canada.

Baby Phat by Kimora Lee Simmons  in Fabulosity

       Love! A few of my friends have tried it and it blended well with all of their natural scents. Good buy though hard to find.
